About Me

I'm Sai. Platform engineer at JPMorgan Chase UK, on the observability team. Grew up in Bangalore, did a master's in Germany, and ended up in London. Still not entirely sure how.

Most of my work is the kind nobody sees. Pipelines, alerting, Kubernetes, the stuff that quietly keeps everything running. I've developed strong opinions about alert fatigue and an unhealthy obsession with shaving minutes off deploy times.

Outside of work I support Liverpool. I was at the 2025 title parade, lost my voice, zero regrets. I've seen Roger Waters, Metallica, Axl Rose, and A.R. Rahman live and somehow that list still feels incomplete. I play chess and table tennis, both badly. I drink too much coffee and take it too seriously. Board games, especially the chaotic shouty kind, are my idea of a good evening. And I'll always travel for food that's worth it.

I'm also someone who learns fast, gets genuinely curious about things, and tries to be easy to work with. That last one matters more than people give it credit for.

My wife keeps me grounded and makes sure I never walk alone. My mum is my superhero. That's really all you need to know.
